After a wet-weather postponment, we started Sand Canyon field trips on March 5, between storms. It's a bit early for too much to be out, but it worked well and all learned lots. We look forward to the greening up of the canyon, frogs to catch, flowers to identify, and migratory birds at their best!
"Sand Canyon Station," the video tape on the history of the people who lived in Sand Canyon during the construction of the Los Angeles DWP Aqueduct, is available at the Maturango Museum for purchase!
