The photos below show my station in Inyokern, California. Because of extreme winds (80 to 100 mph) and wide temperature variations everything is built strong. Guy wires are 1/4inch stainless steel ships rigging. |

| Here's my latest creation. I now am a big gun on 30 meters out here. I made a full sized 30 meter rotating dipole. I had to modify the tower to a tilt over because I just can't climb any more. Not the same idiot I was 20 years ago. Anyway made stress lines to hold it together in the winds but it was on its side and when we cranked it up. It went into an āSā curve. I just tell everyone it is a wave guide and designed into the configuration...? |
