Since Ridgecrest is somewhat remotely located in the Mojave Desert, our youth often participate in "out-of-town" events - many in the LA area. They include: trips to LA Dodgers games, the beach, Magic Mountain, Disneyland and so forth. 
We're not far from the winter ski resorts either; so winter trips are planned!
