Dr. Nikolay D. Belkin is Director General of NPO ASTROPHYSIKA. He is a senior director of Russian high - technology weapons and civilian R&D work, particularly at the GRANAT and RADUGA laboratories.
Dr. Aleksander B. Aleksandrov is the Technical Director of the RADUGA laboratory. He directs all research activities at RADUGA, which has approximately 10,000 employees
Dr. Evgeny M. Zemskov is a Chief Engineer at NPO ASTROPHYSIKA. He is recognized as having been responsible for designing and building lasers that are possibly the most powerful in the world.

Dr. Peter V. Zarubin is also employed by GRANAT, which he joined in 1995 after retiring as Director General of Directorate #8, essentially the Russian equivalent to our Director, Ballistic Missile Defense Organization. A physicist, Dr. Zarubin is seen as the 4minence grise of high-power lasers in Russia.
