DNS Issues

If you are unable to load web pages, other then Ridgenet, you are experiencing DNS issues...which means either Ridgenet's T1 (phone) provider has gone down or your internet settings where changed.

  • To check the status of Ridgenet's T1's Click Here

  • If the status of the T1's says it is "operational" then you will need to reinstall the Ridgenet installation disk. Please Note: Check the lable of your installation disk to make sure it says "Revision 2002.12.10" The setup disk is for Windows 95, 98, ME, and XP.

  • If you are unable to get the setup disk or have a Mac, you can also look up the Setup Instructions for your system on the main Help page. Simply Click on the OS you are running and follow the instructions. Please note that this may cause a second "Ridgenet" icon to be created. Deleting the first icon will help prevent confusion on which icon is the functioning one.

  • If you are still not working, call tech support for help or to find out about outage information.
