Welcome!

Greetings from California's Upper Mojave Desert. Our ten acres is named Horned Toad Flats in honor of the Desert Horned Toad Lizard, Jeanie's favorite kind of lizard when she was a kid. Unfortunately, the Horny Toad (which is not even related to a toad) is now rare. The last time we saw one was in the Spring of 2001 when Floyd found one at work on a remote desert range. He drove to Jeanie's office with the little guy in hand, so she could see and hold it.
