FT-K01 Fuel Tester

Produced specifically for motorsport organizations to certify that the fuel used in their racing events meets the requirements specified in the rules, Kavlico’s FT-K01 Fuel Tester is also valuable to the engine builder and racer to verify that the fuel they use in the dyno room for engine development is exactly the same as the fuel they use at the track.  On the racetrack, the advantage of knowing that your fuel meets the rules of your racing association is obvious, but having ‘fresh’ fuel is critical to being competitive.  As gasoline ages, it may lose some of the more volatile hydrocarbon components through evaporation or oxidation.  'Stale' gasoline can degrade performance, possibly cause costly engine damage, and may render the fuel illegal for use in competition.
