PLACING ORDERS, PRICES, SHIPPING & HANDLING, PAYMENT & RETURNS

Please Read This Page Carefully before placing an order!  By placing an order you agree to these terms and conditions. 

PLACING ORDERS:  To place an order, call 760-375-2398 or email us (fueltesting@ridgenet.net) with your requirements.  In most cases calling us direct will be the most efficient way to place an order as we will be able to provide advice and counsel on the best system to meet your fuel testing needs.  Be prepared to tell us how you plan to use your equipment and if you are a racing association, how your fuel rules are written.  

Prices:  Prices of kits and items are subject to change without notice.  Prices listed on this website are F.O.B. PFTS, and do not include cost of shipping to the client.  

MINIMUM ORDERS: Please note that there is a $50.00 minimum on all orders for supplies (not including S&H).  Adjust order quantities accordingly to avoid paying extra.

Shipping & Handling: Shipping is normally via UPS, unless other arrangements have been made by the client.  Handling charges  are $4.00 ($10.00 for international shipments) per shipment to recover the cost of packaging materials, export documentation,  and drop-off at shipping facility.

PAYMENT (U.S. Orders):   PFTS ships COD unless payment is made in advance of shipment.   PFTS will pay COD charges  on all orders over $100.00 (merchandise only excluding shipping costs).   If payment is made in advance by personal or company check, please allow 10-14 days for your check to clear before your order is shipped.  Sorry, no credit cards accepted at this time.  We ship open account only for companies that have established credit with us well in advance of placing an order.

PAYMENT (INTERNATIONAL ORDERS):  We have found that wire-transfer of funds directly from your bank to our bank, conveniently eliminating all currency exchange issues, is the best and easiest way for our international clients to pay for their orders.   We apply a charge of $30.00 to cover bank wire transfer fees at both ends.  Orders are shipped upon receipt of funds.

CUSTOMER SATISFACTION POLICY:  PFTS will refund the full purchase price (less shipping and handling) of any item that the customer is dissatisfied with for any reason, provided that item is returned in resalable condition within 30 days of receipt. Items may not be returned after 30 days except under product warranty.  Note: A 20% restocking charge may be applied to returns at the sole discretion of Precision Fuel Testing Systems.  Glassware, such as hydrometers, cylinders, etc., will be replaced at no charge only if broken in shipping. 

RETURNS:  PFTS will not accept returns without a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number, which must be clearly marked on the shipping label of the returned merchandise. Call for an RMA before shipping. ITEMS RETURNED WITHOUT AN RMA NUMBER WILL BE REFUSED.
